About Me

150329-RH707-071

Hello! My name is Molly Hightower. I live in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. I graduated in May 2015 from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in sports media strategic communications.  I have worked for three summers as the children’s ministry intern for First Baptist Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. As the intern I helped with and planned events all through the summer. When I wasn’t helping the children I helped with the youth and served as a leader at Falls Creek and Super Summer.

After college, I attend the Kanakuk Institute, in Branson, Missouri.  KI is a eight month graduate discipleship program featuring different speakers from around the country. I am learned to study the Bible and share my faith in new ways.

My first job has been with a company called Booster. Booster is a elementary school fundraising company that puts on Fun Runs in schools all across the country. This job took me on an exciting adventure to Houston, Texas. I am in my 4th year with Booster and I am working in Dallas, Texas as a Senior Program leader.  As a Senior Program Leader, I am in charge of leading the elementary school partners through the Boosterthon program. You lead the team on campus, play a key role in developing the team members you work with, help schools reach their fundraising goals, and positively impact students.

Some of the skills sets I have learned so far with this job:

Event Management – Leading the Pep Rally and Fun Run day experience, oversee team delegation, think through event details, and coordinate logistics.
Team Leadership & Development– l  have been learn to lead and develop a team.
Student Engagement – I get to spend time engaging with students and getting to be a role model for students! This is one of my favorite things.
Effective Communication – Finally getting to put that communication degree to use.

I love talking about my job. Send me an email if you want to know more. Molhightower21@aol.com
Each day I strive to achieve my goals and make a difference.
